Panasonic Life Solutions India Pvt Ltd, one of the largest domestic manufacturer of electrical construction materials (ECM) in India, has announced that the company has won the coveted ‘Golden Peacock Award 2020 for Environment Management’ for their wires and cables manufacturing unit located in Daman. PLSIND bagged this award for their persistent sustainable efforts towards environmental initiatives at the unit. The award category was for prominent players present in the Electrical Consumer Goods Manufacturing Sector.

Panasonic Life Solutions India Daman Unit-04 was declared winner from amongst the 235 short-listed nominations received after a stringent three-tire assessment process by the Grand Awards jury. The participants from Corporates included large, small and medium enterprises covering all types of public, private and government enterprises. Due to the unprecedented moment of the Covid-19 crisis, the award ceremony was conducted on a virtual platform.
