How is digitalization impacting formwork design?
At Paschal we keep on innovating to fulfill our client’s expectation, we have a dedicated sister concern called Planitec, which provides the design software solution for the formwork design software such us PPL 12.0 / PP PRO etc. This helps to reduce the formwork design preparation time, besides that it can also be integrated with ware house management system which can design the formwork with the available resource in the inventory. This enables effective utilization of resources and helps in reducing unnecessary cost as also unwanted new purchases. The software enables the end user and client to grasp all the phases of formwork construction in 3D for easy understanding.
Tell us something about the Paschal AR app
The Paschal AR app makes it possible to present the planned formwork solution in original size on an area in real surroundings by means of a smartphone or tablet.
Mobile use of digital models
The Paschal AR interface integrated in PPL 12.0 makes everything totally consistent from the 3D formwork model across all process steps through to the construction site. The result in the AR app shows the respective current state of planning – this makes formwork even easier and verifiable for the construction management team according to the current planning. The Paschal AR app is available for free in the AppStore.
What kind of advanced formwork solutions are you offering and its feasibility?
Paschal Ident
Paschal Ident technology assigns a unique electronic number to each of the formwork elements – similar to a human fingerprint. The process guarantees unique and unmistakable identification, and is prerequisite for leasing or any other credit processes. RFID technology is based on three components: The transponder (a computer chip with an antenna and casing, approx. the size of a 5 euro cent coin), the reader (which communicates with the transponder wirelessly via induction), and the software associated with the reader (integrated into the reader). Data associated with the formwork element is transmitted online from the reader to the PC, or directly to the online portal.

- Control and adjust the concrete temperature from any location
- Increased production output
- Real-time insight into the concrete maturity status
Save time, reduce costs
Based on the real-time analysis of the concrete strength, the optimal time for dismantling is determined. As a result, the number of defects due to early dismantling is reduced on the one hand, and, on the other hand, there are no unnecessary waiting times during the concrete maturity phase.
The user receives a convenient notification as soon as the target value has been reached or if there is too much difference in the internal temperature.
In order to guarantee the best possible concrete quality, the concrete temperature can be controlled and adjusted from any location by means of heating and cooling systems.
What are the related technical services and professional expertise essential to facilitate effective implementation of formwork systems?
We at Paschal always support our clients at the bidding stage itself and extend it once the project is awarded to them. We micromanage and provide assistance at each and every level of theproject execution. This enables them to use our products in an effective and optimized way.
We guide our customers on effective use of the existing material with minimal additions or replacements. Whenever there are any design changes, our technical team offers the necessary support, likewise we also train the users(carpenter workforce) as per the changes introduced and guide them accordingly.
Training is our biggest asset, when new carpenters are recruited for the project we train them on effective utilization of our products. We also provide the productivity data to our client from time to time to ensure he remains aware of how our system is benefiting the project in question.
We are the only German Company in India to provide a complete refurbishment of our products at the Vishakhapatnam facility. Instead of going for new procurement, our clients can get the products refurbished. More so, because our panels are designed to last for at least 20 years and that too at a very reasonable cost.
When it comes to product delivery, how much time is required?
At least a weeks’ time is required for the delivery purpose.
What is the scope of the rental model in the backdrop of post lockdown?
As of now Paschal has not entered into rental business in India, but Paschal’s authorised agencies can provide the Paschal’s genuine product for rental. As far as technical support, formwork design and authentication is required it will be done through Paschal India.
We have noticed that some of the clients are not opting for rentals due to uncertainty on the availability of labour force, they were instead keen on making a direct purchase.
