What are the latest innovation and trends in designs and materials for pipes and fitting in Indian industries?
Regarding design and material innovation, technological advancements in plastic piping are evolving faster. This is mainly to make inroads in new application segments to offer a better substitute to the prevailing products with superior performance at affordable cost. For hot- and cold-water applications, cutting-edge materials, including PEX, PERT, and multilayer composite pipes, have recently been launched. To suit the evolving needs of the construction industry, high-end drainage systems for buildings, such as low-noise drainage systems with various innovative features, are now readily available. Similar to how they have upgraded and enhanced items like septic tanks, underground water tanks, rainwater harvesting systems, and underground drainage and sewage systems.

How is your organisation innovating to ensure protection against corrosion and rust?
Innovation, product development and continuous up-gradation of quality have been our constant endeavour and key strengths. Conventional metal piping products are associated with problems like poor resistance to corrosion and abrasion, chemical reactiveness, sedimentation, short and uncertain life spans, repeated maintenance requirements, etc. On the other hand, all plastic piping products are free from these problems and offer many other advantages. Plastic piping is a sustainable and eco-friendly solution compared to conventional products. Being chemically inert and free from corrosion, plastic piping products are considered much safer than traditional metal pipes, especially for potable water applications and industrial usage. At Supreme, we offer a variety of piping products and indifferent polymers like PVC, C-PVC, PP, PP-R, HDPE and PEX. These pipe materials have excellent resistance to corrosion and a wide range of chemicals.
