Aerolam XLPE Aerolam Closed Cell Cross Linked PE Foam will be showcased for the HVAC&R industry. Our products meet insulation requirements for air conditioner (AC) ducting’s, chilled and hot water lines, in various forms like XLPE plain sheets, with various cladding surfaces (laminates) UV resistant, glass-cloth, no-clad to add strength in various conditions at site. Our pre-formed pipe insulation adds much value to the onsite application quick fitments as against conventional wrapping and additional cladding requirements.

How can your products in insulation add more value to construction?
Aerolam XLPE is fibre-free with closed cell material in line with the standards of pharma and food industry. Clean room applications, food processing zones, dairy and other beverage plants will opt for clean and non-fibrous insulation materials. Insulation grades of Class-O with third-party test certifications meeting the fire characteristics, are in demand. Apart from these standard applications, specifications and designers are seeking energy reductions from underdeck insulation methods. This is where a significant shift is now being noticed at various design houses that now prefer Aerolam XLPE to their design advantages.

What are the latest trends and innovations in insulation?
Large floor plate warehousing sector, in which PEB roofing designs now incorporate value-added insulations. Hence, a single window PEB can now design a building along with Aerolam XLPE insulations with various options in core-insulation and along with lamination options. It exhibits greater resistance when it comes to moisture and water ingress conditions, with outlosing the insulation values. A wide array of markets other than construction industry is the conversion market for XLPE-Foams. Automotive, packaging, poultry are a few to mention. The XLPE Foam enables flexibility, die-cutting, form works, moulding and gasketing parameters to be met in small tolerances. Different density, colours, thickness can be tailor-made at our plant lines.

Aerolam XLPE is now offering global advantage to the Indian markets by meeting the industry demands from its plant near Ahmedabad-Gujarat. Our R&D and production lines are capable of producing large variety of foams to cater to the large volume of local and global export markets, without any hastle of stocking and inbound shipping costs. This is a logistics advantage that is now gaining momentum. Of course, XLPE does not have any fibrous contents, hazardous chemical binders, and is light-weight, easy to apply and load-unload, cut-trim and paste, as against conventional materials. In the latest development, our XLPE Foam with lamination comes with online grooved “Flange” / “Staple Tab”, which is helpful for sealing the side lap joints in various applications.
