At Propel, we continuously integrate cutting-edge technology with our traditional equipment to optimise production.
Anand Mohan. Senior Vice President at Propel Industries discusses Propel’s keen interest in the Rajasthan market during their exhibit at Earthcon Expo 2023 in Jaipur. He sheds light on the company’s strategic plans to capitalise on the promising opportunities within this region. Propel aims to leverage its innovative range of crushing and screening equipment to meet the diverse needs of the burgeoning market, underscoring its commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
Please explain the range of equipment you offer for the Rajasthan market.
In Rajasthan, we offer an extensive machinery lineup, ranging from crushers and screening devices to washing equipment. Notably, our sand washing machines are highly sought-after in the Rajasthan market. While our primary suite includes a 200-ton class of crushing, screening, and washing plants, we can cater to needs with equipment capacities from 50 to 500 tons per hour. This range encompasses various types, including truck-mounted, wheel-mounted, and other crushing plant variants.
Our company’s products are at the forefront of technological innovation, ensuring they fulfil our customers’ demands. Before venturing northward, we established a solid foundation in Rajasthan. This includes a dedicated warehouse and collaborations with Exim Solitech across four strategic locations in the state, fortifying our network and guaranteeing top-notch service support.
How do you see the market responding to your products and growth?
The market has consistently shown a demand for our offerings, and we foresee this trend continuing. Upholding our commitment as a responsible supplier, we design our machines with features to mitigate pollution. Our equipment ensures reduced noise emissions, and we provide solutions like conveyor coverings and crusher plant covers for added safety and collision prevention.
Speaking of pollution control, how do you foresee the demand for electric equipment?
The concept of electric equipment isn’t novel; it’s been a staple in the automobile sector. Indian equipment providers began offering dual-drive options, combining electric and diesel power sources. Propel took the lead in India, pioneering the introducing of this dual-drive system in the crushing and screening industry. Following this, other providers, including international firms, have launched hybrid versions. Propel’s innovative embrace of technology and its dedication to providing state-of-the-art machinery have garnered respect from industry peers, establishing a standard for market trends.
You’re closely connected with the market. What is the current availability of aggregates?
Aggregate availability is diverse. Essentially, there are two primary drivers of demand: project-based and capacity-based. Project-based demand hinges on production capabilities, raw material availability, and governmental mining regulations. In urban settings, logistical challenges, such as daytime transportation restrictions, can significantly influence operations. Navigating this domain is intricate, given the myriad of factors at play.
Is maintenance and shipment a challenge?
Maintenance and shipment challenges often arise from operator practices. Educating operators about maintenance practices and providing the necessary services is crucial. We offer training programmes for clients to ensure smooth operations. We have a structured training programme organised by region and state. We educate our client operators on best practices.
At Propel, we continuously integrate cutting-edge technology with our traditional equipment to optimise production. One prime example of our innovative approach is the development of the cone crusher, available in both fixed and floating shaft configurations. It’s worth noting that the fixed-shaft design, in particular, offers significantly enhanced efficiency compared to the floating shaft configuration.
