Raunaq Steels offers long and flat steel products

Started in 1991 as a proprietary concern with a humble turnover of `30 lacs, Raina Steel Industries, the company has built up a repertoire of blue chip clients. Now, it has grown in stature to a private limited company with the turnover more than `500 crores. Raunaq Steels Trading Pt. Ltd., is promoted by Sudarshan Rungta, with more than three decades of experience in the iron and steel trade. He is well supported by his brothers Surendra Rungta and Leeladhar Rungta. Their experience commitment has helped the company to become one of the leaders in the steel trade.

Products
The company deals in all kinds of long and flat steel products. Its range of products are M S plates, chequered plates, M S channels, M S flats, Mangles, rounds, TMT rebar’s, RS jo its, etc. It is specialised in BQ plates, SAIL hard plates and HT plates.

Infrastructure
Raunaq’s warehouses are strategically located in Chennai which have more than 1,00,000 sq. ft. covered shed with concrete flooring. In covered warehouse and open warehouse, it can stock over20,000 MT. There are 15 EOT Cranes of various capacities and 3 mobile cranes of15 MT capacities each.

Decoiling
Its recoiling unit, located at Mana linear Chennai, provides de-coiling and shearing services. This unit has advanced machines to decoil and shearing the materials ranging from 1.6mm to 25 mm thickness and width up to2,500 mm.
