RUSTOGEL 1406 is an user friendly product for the pre-treatment of mild steel sheet metal components which are odd sized equipment and fabrications, and very difficult to clean by dip or spray methods and all such heavy equipments difficult for transport to the cleaning sites. The use of RUSTOGEL 1406 renders the fabricated equipment, machinery, plants and vessels surface free from surface oil, grease, dirt, dust and rust. The iron oxide / atmospheric rust are easily cleaned within 10 – 30 minutes of application time, depending on the extent of corrosion.

RUSTOGEL 1406 is based on phosphoric acid (a rust preventive acid), wetting agents, organic solvent cleaners, foam boosters and corrosion preventives. Application of RUSTOGEL 1406 can be conveniently carried out by brushing or swabbing. RUSTOGEL 1406 is totally soluble with water in all proportions, and is easily Rinsed by water and removed. RUSTOGEL 1406 is used at as supplied by brushing or swabbing all over on the components. RUSTOGEL 1406 does not drain out or drip from the vertical or roof top surfaces and allows sufficient time for the reaction of Rust cleaning, which is normally 10 to 30 minutes.
