what is your expectation from the EXCON ’19
As the market is starting to rebound and some light at the end of the tunnel is visible we look at EXCON with a renewed expectation of newer products on display, meet our existing customers to reinforce our brand and offer our new range of product for Indian market .
What are the new product launches you have planned for Excon 19?
We have come up with a new strategy for our range of Self Propelled Scissors Lift and Aluminium Telescopic Platforms to showcase during EXCON. The product is similar to all existing world famous brands but with a ECO twist.
How do you respond to the market, what are the USP of your products that allows you to stand tall?
The product on offer is engineered to meet the expectations of low cost high quality Indian market sentiments with guarantee for the product and parts availability. After sales service is the most important part of our product chain. It’s value for money.
Looking at the market opportunities, what are your focus areas?
Our focus during these trying times is to offer our Indian customers with a very cost effective solution in the Self Propelled Scissors lift and Aluminium Mast AWP product ranges. As the rental business is destined to expand, we will be playing a larger role in this segment.
In your view how the government policies can rejuvenate an ailing market for Aerial Works Platforms?
There are several key areas which determines the market for AWPs. One of the most important is enactment & implementation of laws regarding use of labour working at heights. Safety at heights for labour is the key element which will enable faster turnaround of project using latest technology in construction industry.
Second being the import of second hand machinery, age and working condition of such machines should be regulated. This will allow local industries to develop these products with better technology and price advantage.
What is your current market share in the different product categories?
Vanjax is currently market leader in the aluminium telescopic platform (awp). Where we are the only manufacturer in the country. The other population of the same equipment is through imports mostly from China.
What is your view on the future of the Access Equipments in India?
India is poised to develop into a major market for access equipment in the future.
