Sahyadri Industries Ltd. is a well known group in Building Material Industry based at Pune. The group founded by Late Shri. L. B. Patel, who ventured into the trade to timber and building materials, sensing the Urban and Rural needs for developing shelters to people of all income groups way back in 1947.

Corrugated Sheets 
Swastik Corrugated Sheets has built-in beneficial characteristics such as resistant to natural weathering and corrosion, thermal insulation, sound insulation, fire resistant.
Swastik corrugated sheets also included coloured corrugated sheets. The advantages of using Swastik Coloured roofing sheets are that these sheets not only improve aesthetic values, but also absorb or reflect heat as per the colour used.
 
·         Air Extractors
 
Air Extractors as the name implies extracts stale hot air / fumes from the industrial buildings, Assembly halls, Foundries, Heat Treatment Plants etc., and maintains satisfactory thermal environment. Due to certain constraints When sufficient openings in the building cannot be provided for ventilation Extractors play an important part it requires no power and has no moving parts it will be operative for 24 hours a day 365 days a year at no running cost.
 
When natural air blows along side an extractor it enters the space C between inner & outer circles A & B. If the wind is blowing at a certain velocity as it enters space C its velocity increases because from a vast space it gets compressed to smaller space and air try”s to go out of space C with more speed (velocity) because of this a vacuum is created in space C. Hot air from inside the building rushes out to fill the vacuum space Thus the extraction of hot air takes place because of kinetic energy of the flowing wind.
 
·         Roof lights
 
Swastik roof lights are manufactured with the same high quality blend of Cement and Asbestos fibre as used for making AC Corrugated sheets. The roof lights corrugation are same as of roofing sheets therefore when fixing them there are no problems.
Roof lights are normally fitted in the center row of the slope so that light is spread evenly over the entire working space below. They are also used on north light roofs as northlight glazings.
Roof lights normally find use in Industrial Sheds and Godowns but are useful for low cost housing schemes in congested areas where it becomes necessary to have lights on even in day.
 
They come in three lengths:
1.5 mtr – purlin distance 1.35 mtr.
1.83 mtr – purlin distance 1.40 mtr.
2.00 mtr – purlin distance 1.40 mtr.
The roof light will accept wired glass of size 700 mm x 400 mm, 5 mm thick.
