Schmalz showcases VacuMaster an advanced vacuum lifter with energy-saving tech

Schmalz introduced its next-generation VacuMaster at BLECH India 2025—a smart, energy-efficient hoover lifter developed for safe, ergonomic handling of heavy products in the metal, wood and plastic sectors.

Schmalz, a leader in vacuum automation and material handling solutions, showcased its next-generation vacuum lifter, the VacuMaster, at BLECH India 2025 — Booth D2, Hall 3. Rakesh Agarwal, Founder of Laser Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and a well-known personality in the laser cutting industry, unveiled this innovative hoover lifter.

The new VacuMaster is engineered for safety, ergonomics, and energy efficiency, meeting the needs of industries such as sheet metal, woodworking, and plastic sheets. With a lifting capacity of up to 750 kg, the VacuMaster allows a single operator to securely and quickly handle heavy, flat, non-porous items, removing the need for slings, chains, or additional personnel.

Powered by a high-performance electric vacuum pump for easy handling of suction-tight workpieces.  It is equipped with digital and analogue vacuum gauges, allowing for precise, real-time monitoring of vacuum levels throughout the system. The vacuum pump’s automated on/off control ensures ideal vacuum pressure, improving both performance and energy efficiency. For added safety, a manual slide valve with double actuation is included.

The VacuMaster, built with mild steel main and cross beams, has a lightweight yet sturdy structure that provides stability without sacrificing flexibility of movement. The integrated vacuum reservoir speeds up cycle times and ensures load security in the case of a power outage. Its flexible suction plates allow for optimal adaptability to various surfaces. The technology features the Flexo Link, which allows each suction cup to uniquely adjust to curved surfaces, ensuring a firm grasp on uneven workpieces. Furthermore, the pad disconnector allows for selective activation of suction cups, making it suitable for a variety of workpiece sizes. The quick-connect electrical system enables rapid integration and simplifies maintenance.
