Events help shape our future plans for the markets in terms of product development, R&D, services etc. bC India is definitely one of such events and a great platform to achieve this.
Sicoma Mixers India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), ever since its inception in 2007 as 100 per cent subsidiary of Sicoma srl of Italy, has been striving to achieve market leadership by providing state-of-the-art concrete mixers and services. Today it is one of the largest manufacturers of concrete mixers in the world.
It manufactures around 3,000 mixers a month globally on an average. The range includes twin shaft mixers, planetary mixers, turbine mixers and continuous mixers. Sicoma also provides consultancy and products for concrete distribution systems. Sicoma Group has its manufacturing facilities in Italy, China and India. SMIPL has made a progressive development by manufacturing and assembling mixers in India.
Expectations
Sicoma Mixers India Pvt. Ltd. globally participates in all major events to showcase their latest technology and products. Every trade show, the company goes with the intention of connecting with its customers, competitors, industry captains and the industry in particular to understand more deeply and precisely the new opportunities, requirements and demands of the market.
“Since SMIPL’s incorporation in India in 2007, it has participated in all major trade shows in India. Its experience has been very encouraging despite ups and downs in the industry,” says Mr Kumar. “These events help shape our future plans for the markets in terms of product development, R&D, services etc. bC India is definitely one of such events and a great platform to achieve this.”
Key attraction
“Apart from showcasing our core strengths of designing and manufacturing planetary and twin shaft mixers, we shall be widely utilising the bC India platform to launch a new twin shaft mixer MAO 750/500 with an output capacity of 0.5 cu.m. batch size of compacted concrete,” says Mr Kumar.
Of late it has been observed that twin shaft mixers are increasingly gaining popularity in lower capacity plants (<30 cu.m./hr) due to low wear and tear, better productivity and quality of mix. The demand for these small capacity twin shaft mixers has resulted in Sicoma designing and manufacturing the MAO 750/500, 0.5 cu.m. twin shaft mixer exclusively for the Indian sub-continent market.
This mixer has gained significant importance for markets, as large construction projects prefer to have captive plants at site for concrete production. The company is sure the mixer is going to garner a large amount of interest among its customers.
Other offerings
Sicoma is also going to showcase its services and products for concrete distribution system (travelling buckets etc.), which it would like to introduce in India. Other products on display will be its planetary mixer with skip and bucket arrangement.
