Socomec India’s ATyS a M Automatic Transfer Switch improves electricity dependability and safety for a variety of industries, including high-rise buildings and healthcare.
Socomec India, a global pioneer in electrical power solutions, is pleased to introduce its latest innovation, the ATyS a M pre-programmed Automatic Transfer Switching Equipment (ATSE). This switch is intended to suit the fire safety and emergency lighting requirements of commercial enterprises, high-rise buildings, light industries, luxury residential complexes, as well as the healthcare and hospitality sectors.
Transfer switches are frequently installed in LT panels, sub-distribution boards, and rising main tap-offs to offer supply redundancy across each level by connecting two independent risers and emergency sources. This form of installation architecture enhances power availability during power outages and greatly adds to building safety by including ATS in lift and fire pump panels.
Socomec has been designing, manufacturing, and testing switchgear since 1922 to provide safe, reliable, and long-lasting Transfer Switching Equipment (TSE) for electrical systems that fully comply with Class PC of IEC 60947-6-1, the international TSE standard. Socomec transfer switches protect major integrators around the world, with a few million TSE units already installed. The company invests 8 percent of its annual revenue in research and development, demonstrating its commitment to delivering products that incorporate cutting-edge technology and effectively address critical customer challenges such as cost-efficiency, seamless integration, and uninterrupted power availability.
Key Features and Customer Benefits:
The ATyS a M is a ground-breaking automatic transfer switch with four poles and capacities ranging from 25 to 63A. It is 30 percent smaller and less expensive than comparable products. It has a small footprint thanks to its real modular construction and ability to mount in any position. Its pre-configured integrated controller enables quick, error-free commissioning and automatic source transfer management (Main-Main or Main-GenSet). This completely integrated and interlocked transfer switch has excellent electrical performance, including microprocessor control and monitoring. Its adaptable operating mechanism allows for speedy transfers in automatic or local manual mode during emergency operations. Furthermore, the ATyS a M has a locking device that allows for secure separation of the load (in position zero) via padlock.
The ATyS an M, built to IEC 60947-6-1 standards and featuring robust power connections, successfully manages all load types. Optional modules, such as Modbus RTU (RS485) communication, GenSet management, and fire input, enable comprehensive customisation to satisfy a variety of operating requirements.
“The ATyS a M marks a significant milestone in our ongoing mission to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective power solutions,” says Meenu Singhal, Regional Managing Director, Socomec Greater India. “As power management specialist, we are dedicated to delivering not just products, but pioneering innovations that redefine reliability and efficiency. The ATyS a M’s compact design, scalability, and proven performance are a testament to our unwavering commitment to addressing the evolving needs of our customers. Our significant investment in research and development underscores our role as thought leaders, enabling us to consistently introduce solutions that ensure seamless and uninterrupted power availability, empowering our customers to achieve their operational goals with confidence.”
