The founding of SSI (Small Scale Industries) in 1950s recognised now as MSME (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) truly gave birth to ‘Make in India’ event. Setting up industrial estates to facilitate growth of SSI led to mass employment of experienced blue collar workmen and simultaneously provided opportunity to impart training to untrained raw workmen to become employed. This attempt to generate employment within industrial climate led to founding thousands of textile, mechanical, chemical, pharmaceutical and services outfits.
VANJAX own industrial enterprise began with manufacturing of hydraulic jacks for Ashok Leyland and others way back in 1960s. It soon stepped into variety of material handling equipment manufacturing. Today Vanjax has become one of the leaders in its chosen category of ‘HYDRAULIC POWER IN ACTION’. Made in India has replaced imports, saved outflow of foreign exchange and engendered growth of engineering skills.
