STP Limited celebrates historic sales milestones in construction chemicals

I am excited to be associated with STP Limited, one of the oldest companies in the construction chemical industry. As the lead for the Purchase department, I believe this is a fantastic opportunity for me to grow and develop my skills. Being a part of the rapidly growing industry of construction chemicals makes it even more worthwhile.

March 2023 marked a historic moment for STP Limited and its team. We achieved an important milestone in sales that has opened a new chapter for the growth and development of STP in the construction chemical industry. As STPians, we have the potential to lead this industry in India and around the globe.

Purchasing plays a critical role in the profitability and efficient supply chain management of any firm. It is considered the backbone for the timely execution of existing and future sales goals. As the lead for the Purchase department, I have experienced a roller coaster ride for purchasing and supply chain processes and their executions.

The period of FY 21 and FY 22 was the most challenging period for purchasing due to global instability. The construction chemical industry directly correlates the global pricing trends for major raw materials used in finished goods production. Due to erratic price trends, there was a sudden shortage of major raw materials. However, the Purchase team dug down their feet and played a vital role in managing the show to the full extent. Because of the 100% commitment and dedication from the Purchase department, we were able to achieve the sales target goals easily.

As a Purchase Division, our vision is to take essential steps and implement strategies to achieve more cost savings and develop a support system in coordination with R&D that can help us achieve our future goals of being leaders in the waterproofing industry. We aim to achieve this by adopting innovative technologies and processes that enhance our efficiency and effectiveness.

The construction chemical industry is growing at a tremendous pace, and it is an exciting time for us to be a part of it. We, as STPians, have the potential to become leaders in the industry, and it is up to us to make it happen. We will continue to strive for excellence and put our best foot forward in everything we do.
