Next Generation Shell Hydraulic Oils
.

Shell Rimula T5 E 10W-30
With advanced CI4+ engine oil for heavy-duty diesel engines, the Shell Rimula T5 E 10W-30 diesel engine oil is one of the premier products by Shell Lubricants. Available across the country, the engine oil claims to deliver “3 per cent greater fuel efficiency and helps save ` 70,000 annually in single off highway fleet.”

Infused with an advanced combination of semi-synthetic base oils (GTL) and high-performance additives helping with improved fuel economy and protection for operating pressures and temperatures. High-performance engine oil, the Rimula T5 E is recommended by Tata Motors and is a prime in the Shell Rimula portfolio. The Gas-to-Liquid (GTL) technology involves converting natural gas into high-quality liquid fuels, base oils for lubricants, and other liquid products usually made from oil. GTL products are colourless and odourless. They contain almost none of the impurities – sulphur, aromatics and nitrogen – that are found in crude oil.

Shell Tellus S2 MX
Shell Tellus S2 MX is an addition to the wide range of lubricants by Shell. The next generation hydraulic oil is specifically designed to increase productivity with extended oil life, advanced wear protection and outstanding system efficiency. The Shell Tellus S2 MX formulation allows higher load carrying capacity and helps to protect components from damage which therefore helps in increasing equipment’s service life. It also helps to reduce unplanned shutdowns and maintenance expenditure, thus lowering total cost of ownership.

Shell Tellus S2 MX is designed for longer oil life which results in enhanced efficiency and productivity. It gives an in-operation life of 5,000 hours in the Turbine Oil Stability Test (TOST) three times that of typical industry and OEM limits. According to Shell, it also has 75 per cent better sludge formation in thermal stability test, up to 55 per cent lower wear rate in cam ring and up to 65 per cent lower wear rate in vane based on Eaton 35VQ25 test.
