Prof. A S Khanna, a retired faculty member of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and current Chairman of SSPC India, a professional body specializing in Surface Engineering and coatings. During his 27-year tenure at IIT Bombay, he concentrated on corrosion-related research and Surface Engineering, supervising 27 Ph.D. students, over 130 Master’s and B.Tech projects, holding 5 patents, and publishing 200+ papers in peer-reviewed international journals with 4000+ citations. Prof. Khanna received numerous awards and is a fellow of ASM International, NACE International, and other esteemed organizations. He has conducted post-doctoral research in France, Germany, and Japan, authored three books, and organized 25+ National and International conferences.
