There is a saying lane driving is sane driving. Considering, day by day increase in vehicular traffic and in order to ensure safe driving to moving vehicles, S.N.I. Infratech informs there is need to apply road marking paint on roads to show direction and ensure the vehicular traffic moves in right lanes.
Considering above S.N.I. Infratech for the first time developed hot applied Thermoplastic Road Marking Material (TRMP) as an import substitution product. TRMP is a high quality thermoplastic road marking material which has been developed by S.N.I. Infratech with international technologies in India. TRMP conforms to the requirements of BS 3262-1989 read with MORTH specification 803.4. It is a lumpy wet material in granular powder form. On heating it forms a liquid paint, which can be applied on concrete or bitumen paved surface easily after application of Primer, wherever necessary. It is available in different colours viz. white, yellow, blue, green, red, orange and black.
Within 10 minutes of laying, vehicular traffic can be opened over it as it develops a hard wearing surface immediately. S.N.I. Infratech further explains, it is most useful on common roads, garages, workshop floors, run ways etc. Where waiting for curing time of the film cannot be accepted.
Application of TRMP
• The material should be melted in a heater fitted with a mechanical stirrer to give a smooth consistency to the material and to avoid local overheating.
• The molten mass should be used as expediously as possible.
• The molten material should not be kept on heating for more than 4 hours.
