What are your views on digitalising construction equipment and operations?

The digitalisation of construction activities has already begun in some industry sections, such as remote control, data monitoring for equipment, and online breakdown troubleshooting. However, this must be scaled up further to give better and more effective customer service. We are working on a digital solution to reduce downtime and give speedier solutions.

How is it influencing the indigenisation of construction equipment?

It is a positive indicator, and the move toward collaborative operations to promote indigenisation will assist in boosting the potential for domestic and international sales. However, most emerging countries in this sector are currently dealing with the COVID aftereffects, which make monetary conditions unfavourable for business. But we must look ahead, maintain our efforts, and investigate export opportunities.

How do you improve cost-effectiveness and product efficiency to meet project timelines?

In today’s competitive and time-constrained work environment, meeting client expectations is critical to ensure smooth operations and timely project completion. Any equipment, products, or solutions must be designed with the foregoing in mind. We should provide cost-effective, technologically advanced, user-friendly equipment and ensures high productivity. If we can provide such a solution, we can shift toward sustainable construction.

How are we addressing infrastructure project safety requirements?

This is the most significant aspect necessary for the organisation’s operation and is required during manufacturing and on-site operations. We have made it the number one priority for our entire crew.

We are providing regular training to our employees on these safety issues when working with electricity and other hazardous places, both in-house and on the job. Employees must always wear recommended safety clothing, shoes, and equipment.

All first aid kits and emergency medications are kept in strategic areas.

What is Vibrant’s contribution to reducing carbon footprints?

The primary focus on managing carbon footprints in our equipment manufacturing is to reduce the usage of unneeded power during manufacturing and optimise the requirement based on the need. We are working to eliminate waste by improving the manufacturing process.

We aim to optimise and reduce the transportation necessary for relocating our equipment. Better work environments are clean, green, and safe.
