How was BC India 2023 for you?
It was a learning opportunity for us to attend Bauma CONEXPO India for the first time. It was valuable for us regarding visitors and client interactions as we could meet with various stakeholders and suppliers. We have a lot of foot traffic and are getting a lot of inquiries.
Can you talk about your new launch JHF220 mobile crushing plant?
We recently introduced the JHF-220, a mobile plant introduced a year ago. It’s part of our mobility series, as we focus more on mobile plants throughout India. This is intended to support the various construction activities and infrastructure development that are taking place. JHF 220 was on display at Bauma CONEXPO India 2023. It is a two-stage, entirely mobile plant, allowing the customer to easily transport it from one location to another in infrastructure projects. It saves money, time, and a significant amount of investment.
This factory is distinguished by its use of a single-wheel concept. A wheel idea is used in just a few devices. A single machine on wheels might be termed a project if it is incorporated into a more extensive process. On the other hand, we developed the “plants on wheels” concept, which entails placing a two-stage plant on a wheel and installing it in 5-10 days, with an instant return on investment.
What will be the CAPEX aspect?
This is an alternative for track-mounted and individual wheel-mounted plants. In terms of cost, the CAPEX will account for 60 to 70 percent of the entire purchase required for traditional mobile plants. The OPEX, on the other hand, will be between 85 and 90 percent of that of conventional plants.
What will be your commitment to sustainability?
We will be focusing significantly on green technologies because of the advancements taking place in the country and the pronouncements made by the minister of roads and transportation, Nitin Gadkari. Hailstone is engaged in building recycling and biomining of legacy waste, among other operations that are gaining popularity in India. Additionally, we will prioritise lower carbon emissions and renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power. So that will be our primary priority, and our R&D is constantly working to improve more efficient machinery.
Why do customers rely on your sand-washing equipment?
Sand washing is one of the most well-known and long-standing industries in Hailstone. Artificial sand is an excellent possible replacement for natural sand. We are already one of the forerunners in sand manufacturing and have some novel ideas. Our cutting-edge technology with little sand waste satisfies all IS criteria, and our equipment is up to the task.
What is your focus for the coming years?
Our primary aim is to limit the customer’s CAPEX, gain faster ROI, and lower the OPEX so that initiatives in the infrastructure base succeed. We are focused on a few new model releases that will occur this year, and the budget for the same is also extremely promising. So let us all hope for a better 2023.
Can you share how you manage the supply chain amid numerous global concerns? At Hailstone, we are more into “Made in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat,” We are less reliant on other foreign vendors. Indeed, there are many problems with European base suppliers, but we have yet to have any because we are an indigenous product. Because of these external difficulties, we will have more export prospects, and India will become a good manufacturing centre.
