After the encouraging response to ‘Siltank’ overhead water tanks and ‘Amrutam’ underground water tanks, Supreme has introduced yet another unique quality product – premium water storage tanks, ‘WeatherShield’. These premium overhead water storage tanks are designed to offer many best-in-class features. WeatherShield tanks have a unique five-layered design with an extra thick foam layer, making them extra strong, durable, and, most importantly, offering superior thermal insulation properties. These tanks are made with 100 percent Virgin food-grade raw material and have antibacterial properties, making them 100 percent safe for storing drinking water. UV stabilised, ensuring that external weather conditions do not affect the stored water. WeatherShield Water tanks have insulated covers with a built-in locking provision and a built-in water level indicator and pump controller. Available capacities include 500 Ltrs, 750 Ltrs, 1000 Ltrs, and 1500 Ltrs.

Advanced features
The advanced features include being rotationally moulded for maximum strength and superior performance, ensuring 100 percent safety and suitability of drinking water and liquid foods even when stored for long durations, unlike commercial tanks made of reworked material. The stored water in WeatherShield remains unaffected and free from any taste, odour, or colour. The superior thermal insulation provided by the five-layered design with an extra thick foam layer and insulated covers ensures that the water remains cool in summers and reasonably warm during winters, with lab tests revealing a 15-20° C temperature difference between stored water and the ambient temperature. The tanks are 100 percent hygienic and safe, as the antibacterial-grade raw material used for the inside layer does not support bacterial growth. The outer layer, made of UV-resistant material, helps prevent degradation due to ultraviolet rays and keeps it free from crack development or loss of physical properties.

Strong and sturdy insulated covers with built-in locking provisions, designed as rotationally moulded threaded covers, are easy to open and close while safeguarding the water against theft and contamination. A water level indicator helps control water usage, and the pump controller automatically stops the pump when the tank is full, avoiding overflow and saving both water and energy. The elegant and sturdy five-layered design makes the tank tough and strong enough to withstand environmental changes and protects it from bulging. These tanks have good impact strength and are virtually unbreakable. The availability of a ready-made base plate provides a firm, levelled, and sturdy platform, facilitating simple and fast installation and making it convenient while installing the Y-Strainer. Additionally, the provision of inbuilt hooks makes lifting the tank to higher floors easier. The tanks are rigorously tested to ensure superior quality, meeting and exceeding all quality parameters specified in the BIS Standard.
