Two years back, the new government in place had ambitious plans to develop the road sector. Now the plans are being executed well, and due to this there is an increase in demand for equipment,” said Ramesh Palagiri, Managing Director and CEO, Wirtgen India.
On a growth ride
Sharing the achievements of Wirtgen with B2B Purchase, Palagiri says, “It has been a continuous growth for us since 2011, when we started our manufacturing facility in India near Pune with the production of soil compactors and subsequently tandem rollers. We have been continuously investing in introducing new products and technologies. Our latest investment was in the new plant of Kleemann screens at our Pune facility, to produce screens not only for the India, but also for the global market. We are now set to launch our new Vögele pavers to the Indian market.”
Show highlights
With the compact milling machine W 130 CF, the slipform paver SP 64 and the texture curing machine TCM 180, a total of three Wirtgen machines will be celebrating their debut in India during Bauma Conexpo India 2016. In addition to these highlights, seven other exhibits from the cold milling, concrete paving and soil stabilizing sectors will give visitors an in-depth insight into the comprehensive range of Wirtgen solutions for road construction and rehabilitation.
With the new SUPER 1400 and SUPER 1403, Vögele is presenting true all-Indian road pavers for pave widths up to 7.3 metres. The new tracked and wheeled pavers set new standards in everything that matters to Indian road construction companies. Both pavers come with ErgoBasic, the revolutionary system for easy paver operation. ErgoBasic simplifies the operators’ work and provides comfort and ease. Alongside these machines, Vögele also will be presenting the Universal Class SUPER 1800-3 paver at the expo.
HAMM will be presenting the 11-tonne 311 compactor and the 9-tonne HD 99 tandem roller. Both machines are produced in Pune by Wirtgen India, and combine premium German technology with a systematic focus on the Indian market. Hamm also will be exhibiting additional products from its portfolio in Delhi: the HD 12 VV tandem roller from the HD CompactLine, the 3520 heavy compactor and the GRW 280-15 rubber-wheeled roller.
With three exhibits from the innovative EVO series, Kleemann will be showcasing a cross-section of the mobile crusher and screen range: the MC 110 R EVO MOBICAT jaw crusher the MOBICONE MCO 9 EVO cone crusher and the MOBISCREEN MS 703 EVO screening plant. The EVO systems are hallmarked by their excellent transport characteristics, outstanding performance and versatile applications in natural stone and recycling applications.
Wirtgen, Vögele, HAMM und Kleemann experts from the German brand headquarters as well as Wirtgen India also will be continually available to visitors to the Wirtgen Group stand number O.841 at the expo to provide competent advice and to answer questions about the product range, special applications and technologies as well as service.
