The 2nd edition of India’s premier exhibition on construction and infrastructure industry – WorldBuild India, concluded on a high note. Held at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, on April 19th-21st, the state-of-the-art expo brought together some of the finest global brands, government bodies, engineers, construction companies, developers, architects, and designers, under one platform to display Building Materials, Construction and Engineering, which enabled the visitors to source products, technology and services pragmatically.
Spread across an expansive area of over 3,000 sq.mt, the exposition showcased about 1,259 products, exhibited by more than 125 exhibitors. Over 12,504 business visitors walked in and perused through the innovative products and services displayed at the stands, the organisers claim.
The event was graced by the presence of eminent names from the Building material, Construction, Engineering, Architecture and Design fraternity. The boutique exhibition was inaugurated by renowned industry personalities such as Kamal Hadkar, Paulomi Shah to name a few.
The key highlight of WorldBuild India was the newly introduced initiative, ‘Bridge It’. This successful allied event served as a networking platform for buyers and vendors; wherein direct meetings took place between purchase managers/senior personnel of leading Construction and Infrastructure firms on one hand and exhibitors on the other.
The allied event ‘Bridge It’ was conceptualised as a unique platform in order to facilitate interaction, exchange of ideas and business networking between service providers and end-users. The platform proved to be more than a networking forum, wherein the world’s regional and global businesses came in to obtain business intelligence and interact with corporate decision makers to source their requirements with immediate order placement and on the spot fund exchange as well.
The three-day event proved to be a lucrative deal for the visitors and exhibitors wherein the parties sourced new business opportunities and industry innovations that were unveiled at location.
With a successful response received for the 2nd edition, WorldBuild India announced its 3rd edition, scheduled to be held next year from 25th to 27th April.
