Shree Cement Limited and DPIIT’s engagement will empower startups, inventors, and entrepreneurs in India by providing critical infrastructure, mentorship, and funding, establishing a competitive and self-sufficient manufacturing environment.

Shree Cement Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), part of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, to empower and promote industrial incubation. The MoU is intended to develop and promote India’s manufacturing ecosystem by supporting product start-ups, inventors, and entrepreneurs.

The signing event was attended by Neeraj Akhoury, Managing Director of Shree Cement, Sumeet Jarangal, Director of DPIIT, and Sanjiv Singh, Joint Secretary of DPIIT from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and represents an important step towards boosting India’s manufacturing environment.

Shree Cement hopes to promote product entrepreneurs through this cooperation by providing infrastructure, coaching, finance access, and market connections, guiding them from prototype creation to potential global expansion.
