At IMME, Maco Corporation unveiled cutting-edge technologies and products for Mining equipment’s and Mining operations.
Could you share your insights on IMME and how these events catalyse the mining industry’s growth?
IMME, organised by CII, is a well-known event in our business, and we’ve been attending for the past four or five years. This event gathers a diverse mix of OEMs and end customers, making it a perfect opportunity to meet with them and learn about the latest technology.
How do ANSUL Fire Suppression Systems provide critical protection for off-road mining vehicles?
ANSUL, a Johnson Controls Inc. (JCI) brand in the United States, is the world’s top fire suppression system, distinguished by its global presence and complete service and aftermarket support. This technology provides comprehensive end-to-end solutions for various mining vehicles. ANSUL offers two suppression systems: a liquid system and DCP for mining trucks and Inergen gas for bigger vehicles. It has a completely integrated electrical system with cutting-edge technology and global approvals, ensuring effective fire prevention. Notably, the shelf life of these items extends from three to twelve years, making them a cost-effective investment with low long-term running costs.
What makes ESCO’s GET products stand out in terms of durability and performance, and how do they contribute to improving operational efficiency?
ESCO invented specialised Ground Engaging Tools (GET), buckets, and drag chains for draglines. We specialise in delivering chains and GET for large equipment like shovels and draglines. Our products are noted for their durability and long shelf life, which means less downtime during installation. This ensures that equipment can work efficiently and with fewer disruptions.
How do WIRECO’s High-Performance Wire Ropes ensure long-term reliability, and what measures do you take to mitigate wear and tear?
WIRECO’s High-Performance Steel Wire Ropes is used for winder applications. As a worldwide recognised number one brand from Germany, our goods have a threefold longer lifespan than what clients generally receive from other manufactures. These wire ropes are commonly utilised in the mining and port industries.
How do Maco Corporation safety systems, like Fatigue Monitoring, 360-degree Camera Systems, and Proximity Sensors, work together to enhance workplace safety, and how has the industry responded to adopting these technologies?
Mining truck safety features are required to ensure high-level safety following DGMS regulations. We provide a comprehensive selection of safety devices, such as fatigue monitoring systems, AI dash cams, CCTV cameras, 360 Deg cameras and reflecting electronic mirror systems. Our products are fully assembled and manufactured locally, with customisable software that outperforms current market offerings. Our solutions are reasonably priced, and we have successfully delivered them to many consumers. We are completely prepared to meet your company’s demands, having access to the most recent software advances.
What innovations did you exhibit at IMME?
We provide a range of safety equipment, including ANSUL Fire Suppression Systems, WIRECO wire ropes, and ESCO products. Another important safety option is the underground refuge chamber, an underground safety chamber created for miners to take shelter in the event of an accident, allowing them to survive for up to 36 hours. This Australian product has been delivered to numerous places throughout India, and we offer full service and spare part support.
We also provide Maestro, a real-time gas monitoring instrument for underground metal mines that improves production efficiency.
Furthermore, MST Russia provides OOHV, the dehydrating additive for mining settling basins OOHV is a powder substance intended for introduction into sludge settling basins, as well as into the pulp in local areas when it is necessary to clean them by mechanized or manual means. When cleaning mine water settling tanks, this material is used in closed-type mining enterprises (underground mining) for the extraction of iron ores, precious metals, etc. Also, the dehydrating additive for mining settling basins OOHV is used to prevent stratification into a solid component and water (outflow of pulp mixture from the fines) during loading and transportation of rock mass during mining operations. OOHV thickens the cohesive rock mass, which allows for its loading and transportation. This product aids production flow, and we provide short-setting and coagulant solutions.
