ACREX India, South Asia’s leading trade fair on Refrigeration & Cold Chain, Air Conditioning, Ventilation & Intelligent Buildings will open its doors for the 18th time from 23 to 25 February 2017.
It has been an endeavour of ISHRAE to bring HVAC&R industry into the forefront and make ACREX India the most coveted event for the built environment. Therefore ISHRAE has formulated a Build Fair Alliance (BFA) this year, with five independent shows catering to the various segments of the Building Construction industry. BFA will bring different players of the Construction Industry under this umbrella and thus offer all stakeholders of the industry an opportunity to acquaint themselves with the latest technology in the field.

Commenting about the current market for HVAC and refrigerating in India, Gaurang Dabholkar, Associate Vice President – Sales, Kirloskar Chillers Private Limited says,“ The Indian HVAC market in general, and in particular, the chiller market seems poised for growth after a slow period between 2014 to 2015. Particularly, industrial segments such as pharmaceuticals, textile and chemical are showing significant improvement in demand. Investments in infrastructure, particularly power projects (thermal & nuclear), continue to provide big opportunities for chiller manufacturers. In the commercial HVAC segments, hospitals & healthcare are growing at a fast pace, while hotels, retail and IT are relatively slow moving.

Kirloskar Chillers
Kirloskar Chillers has a comprehensive range of chiller products for comfort air-conditioning, process cooling and heating. These include the TURBOTEK  Series of Centrifugal Chillers from 250 to 2400 TR, the TURBOLEVTM  Series of centrifugal chillers with magnetic bearing compressors from 95 to 375 TR and the PRODIGY series of Water Cooled and Air Cooled Screw Chillers from 45 TR to 560 TR, with option of Variable Frequency Drives. Various options of voltages, starters and tube materials make the range suitable for every application. KCPL also offers a range of Heat Pumps up to 1000 kW for hot water generation and low temperature chillers down to -20°brine temperatures.
Kirloskar Chillers offers all its products, i.e. conventional and magnetic bearing centrifugal chillers, as well as water cooled and air cooled screw chillers with the option of Variable Frequency Drives, reducing starting current and providing significant savings in operating costs through the life of the plant.
It has also introduced web-based remote monitoring for its chillers, allowing continuous monitoring of the health of the chillers from a central control room and ensuring trouble free operation through early diagnosis and preventive maintenance.

Voltas, a member of the Tata Group, is India’s largest air-conditioning company, with a footprint covering 45 countries. The company has pioneered engineering solutions for a wide spectrum of customers in areas such as HVAC and Refrigeration, E&M Projects, textile machinery, water management and treatment, BMS and indoor air quality systems. Voltas believes that the core of an air-conditioning company is the product portfolio. Some of the products that the company offers include Ductable Split Air-conditioners, Modular Type Top Discharge Full Inverter ODU, Energy Efficient Package Air-conditioners, Scroll Chiller Packages, Centrifugal Chiller Packages and Vapour
Absorption Machines.

ZIEHL-ABEGG
German based ventilation system leader ZIEHL-ABEGG is another participant of ACREX 2017. Fascination, innovation and always being one step ahead  are  the aspirations of the company. The applications that ZIEHL-ABEGG fans cater to include- HVAC, refrigeration, wind power, solar power, transformer cooling, railways, data centers, cold rooms, poultry, electronics cooling and ventilation to name a few.

Johnson Controls (India)
Johnson Controls (India) Pvt. Ltd is also one of the key participants of ACREX 2017. For a small scale commercial kitchen or food processing facility, the company offers VRF Systems and Takumi Range of Ductable Air Conditioners. Designed keeping in mind the needs of HVAC Consultants, Hitachi’s SET-FREEKyosho Range of VRF air conditioning offers a holistic approach to air conditioning small units with varied needs. It comes enabled with an air-conditioning management system that makes it easier for users to have simple, effective control of their air conditioning units to avoid unnecessary energy wastage, including overheating, overcooling and unattended operation.

Dongin Thermo Co
Dongin Thermo Co. Ltd, a Korean based company is specialised in the manufacturing of refregiration systems for special vehicles. With the growing transportation and logistics business, the market is expanding. DM-100R consists of an environment friendly refrigerant R-404A. The DM- 100R is a cooling system that is designed for vans. It has a rooftop mounting condenser and a slim evaporator.

The DM-250S provides maximum cooling for small and medium trucks. It has a standby motor and an oil separator. The DM-250S similar to DM-100R consists of the refrigerant R-404A.

Doby VerrolecUK based Doby Verrolec Ltd is the manufacturer of Ductwork Jointing Systems and components. The company supplies four different flange systems suiting all HVAC needs and providing the lowest air leakage levels. The extensive range of HVAC accessories include, corners, clamps and gaskets. The Flexible Duct Connector by Doby Verrolec Ltd allows the rapid manufacture of flexible joints to prevent vibration transfer between ventilation, air conditioning equipment and associated ductwork.  Wire Suspensions are also a part of the company’s products. The DobyGrip Wire Rope Suspension System can be supplied with fixed lengths of wire rope with a variety of end fittings such as a loop, eyebolt or carabina.

Fergas AB
Fergas AB is one of the leaders in developing and manufacturing air moving products. The popular Fergas NCB 30 range crossflow is used in many applications such as flame effect fireplaces, dishwashers, medical equipment and many types of electronic cooling applications. It is offered in lengths from 106 to 350 mm single and double units with a wide range of AC and DC motors.

ACREX 2017 is expected to attract 500 exhibitors, 30 per cent of them from outside India and more than 50,000 decision-makers, architects, developers, end consumers, advisers and project managers.
The event will have country pavilions hosted by Turkey, Germany and China. Besides these, there is individual participation by 25 countries including USA, UK, UAE, Taiwan, Italy, France, Hong Kong, Russia, Mexico, Sweden, Korea, South Korea, Thailand, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Malaysia, Vietnam and many more.
