Bullish on India with its growth plans, the company plans to unleash eye-catching innovations at bC India 2018

Having witnessed steady growth over more than 20 years, Volvo Penta India has robust plans to flourish in India, says Vice President & Head Miron Thoms. The company looks forward to its entry into bauma CONEXPO India (bC India) with this year’s exhibition given that its existing and potential customers will be visiting its stall shared with other Volvo Group companies. This year, they will be located at OF 23.

Unleashing innovations
Volvo Penta will launch its Bharat (CEV) Stage IV engine range already in 2018 and will have a room with featured technology ready for the future. Today, the current customer base of the company and also potential customers can start with an engineering project to prepare their product portfolio for October 2020.

Engines that stand out
“Our engines share a number of high-technology design features like compact design and high power to weight ratio, electronically controlled engine control system and waste-gate turbocharger for increased block load acceptance, excellent performance with peak torque at low engine speed,” Thoms says.
“Design features with advanced technology contribute to optimised total cost of operations,” he said.

The USP of Penta engines is high reliability owing to high quality standards and less down time due to longer service intervals and excellent fuel efficiency.

Bullish on India
The company has been steadily growing over the last 20+ years and are ambitious about their plans in India. Setting the wheels in motion by recently starting its local production in the country, the company is proud to produce not just in India and for India, but also produce from India for the world.

“We foresee robust growth, especially in the all-speed engine segment,” Thoms added.
