The non-asbestos roofing sheets are almost 30 percent to 50 percent cost-effective compared to other roofing products like–PPGI, PPGL, FRP/ Aluminum sheets etc. Moreover, its non corrosive features, thermal and acoustic insulation properties, better longevity, and other additional safety aspects make them unique in the market.
What are the insulation and fire safety properties in these colour coated non-asbestos sheets?
Its thermal conductivity is 10 times lesser than in the metal roofing, resulting in temperature difference of 5-8º C. Product qualifies for Class – 1 product category in fire propagation test as per BS 476- part 7. RAL 9010 color coated sheets can reduce the temperature by 8-12º C compared to metal sheets
