Autoprime pump
KBL has supplied two Autoprime pumpsets, each of 1000cu.m per hour capacity, to Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) for dewatering of inundated area in the city during the monsoon. These high-capacity pumpsets, each of 105 HP, are very effective in quickly draining water from low lying areas inside the city and near railway tracks that get waterlogged due to heavy rains. These pumps, which don’t require any manual intervention, can be towed quickly to the affected area and are designed to operate instantly as a result of their automated priming feature. Thus, the pumpsets are of great help in restoring normalcy in the city by quickly bringing the suburban train service and traffic back on track.
