Experience BEML’s Heli-Portable Dozer BD50 HST** at Excon 2022.  

BEML Limited a Schedule ‘A’ company under Ministry of Defence, Government of India, is participating in a big way by showcasing its products at outdoor pavilion during EXCON 2022 show, the 11th International Construction Equipment and Construction Technology Trade Fair being held at Bangalore International Exhibition Center (BIEC), Bengaluru from 17th to 21st May 2022.

In the Trade Fair, BEML is exhibiting its construction equipment models of different capacities embedded with the latest technologies.

Models “BD85” and “BD50HST” in the Dozer Category, “BG505I” and “BG405A” in the Motor Grader Category with emission norms compliant BSIV engines, and model “BL30-1” in the Loaders Category are on display.

The following are the technical features of the construction equipment being displayed:

• Dozer Model ‘BD50 HST (Hydro-Static Transmission)’: India’s first heli-portable dozer powered by a 90 FHP (67 kw) @ 1750 rpm BEML diesel engine and hydrostatic transmission. The equipment can be transported to higher altitudes using helicopters. The entire dismantling and assembling of the equipment can be carried out in 15 minutes. 
• Dozer Model ‘BD85’: Equipped with a 230 HP BEML turbocharged direct injection powerful diesel engine, a power-shift transmission, and a Straight Tilt Dozer Blade. 
• Loader Model ‘BL30-1’: This loader is powered by an Ashok Leyland BSIII engine developing 220 HP @ 2200 rpm, a turbocharged, water cooled, 4 stroke, direct injection diesel engine and is fitted with a power shift transmission of 4F-3R speed. The bucket size varies from 1.5 cum to 3.3 cum based on the density of the material being handled. 
• Motor Grader Model ‘BG405A’: A motor grader fitted with a 10 feet blade for small-width road construction work. This motor grader is powered by a BEML diesel engine, developing 125 HP and is fitted with a power shift transmission with 6F and 3R speeds. It also has a scarifier attachment. 
• Motor Grader Model ‘BG605I’ is powered by a 146.8 HP @ 1800 rpm BEML model diesel engine, turbocharged, water cooled, four stroke, six cylinders, fitted with a hydro shift transmission having 6F and 5R speeds, and with a blade length of 12 feet.
