Electric Wire Rope Hoist
CENTURY Electric Wire Rope Hoists are suitable for medium/heavy duty operations and conforming to IS:3938.
 
DESIGN CENTURY hoist is designed in modular construction with each component having easy access for maintenance purpose. The rope drum, gear box, motor, brake and panel can be easily attended to.
 
FRAMEThe frame is of sturdy design fabricated from steel plates and is welded/bolted type.
 
ROPE DRUM
Steel fabricated/seamless pipe drum is machine grooved to IS-3938 and is designed to accommodate the whole lenght of rope in one layer. Guide ring on the drum ensures smooth winding of wire rope.
 
WIRE ROPE
6×36/6X37 construction steel wire rope with minimum factor of safety of 5 is provided.
 
GEAR BOX
Complete gear train for hoisting motion is in an enclosed casing, provided with oil bath lubrication. The gears are made from alloy steel/carbon steel.
 
LIFTING HOOK
Forged steel shank type hook with thrust bearing for swivel is incorporated. Hook is tested as per IS:3815.
 
TROLLEYWheel gap is adjustable for various sizes of I-Beams, Trolley-Motor driven, hand driven, hand chain or pull push type-can be provided as per requirement.
 
MOTORSMotors are of Sq. Cage 40% CDF rating in class “F” insulation as per IS-325 manufactured by GEC/Seimens/Crompton/BBL/Kirloskar/NGEF etc. In some hoists we provide taper rotor, brake motors.
 
LIMIT SWITCH
Snap action type limit switches are provided to avoid over hoisting and over lowering.
 
CONTROLThe hoist is controlled from ground level by means of pendent type push button operating on low voltage of 110 volts to ensure safety to operators. Control panel is of enclosed type with easily removable cover complete with Transformer, Contractors and Fuses.
 
SPL. HOIST
Foot mounted and flexible trolley Hoists are made as per client’s requirements.
