Apurva India Ltd is a construction care company that offers a range of customer centric solutions for the industry. Kate says, “Our wide array of the state of the art products include flooring solutions, hygiene solutions, car park deck solutions and non-flooring solutions.”

Throwing light on the range of products that are offered by Apurva, Kate said, “In the sector of roofing, we are into Resin flooring for industry based on epoxy and PU. Also, our decorative floorings are for commercial buildings. We also provide sports surface coating and we have special coating for potable water tank.”

Recent innovations
Kate feels that the awareness and demand for hygiene flooring is on the rise globally. He adds, “Customers are moving towards more robust system like ‘Decorative Epoxy or Polyurethane combination flooring system’ and ‘Terrazzo floor’. In addition to what he says, the recent picture is that the 3-dimensional flooring is latest addition to the list.”

Procurement and Payment concerns
Speaking about the procurement related issues and the steps taken by Apurva, Kate said, “We deal with reliable, quality conscious and certified suppliers for raw materials procurement and ensure to generate highest value for end users.” The company also checks the raw materials at the time of delivery (batch report) and there are third party test from NABL accredited labs. All this add to the value of the product.

Crossing Hurdles
Apurva India Pvt Ltd executed a landmark job site for multi-level car parking in Mumbai. Sharing an experience when it was almost difficult for them to execute the project, Kate said, “While the area covered was 65,000 sq m, it can accommodate 2,200 car parking at once. The challenge posed in this situation was moisture content in substrate. Against permissible limit of 5 per cent  it was 9 per cent in actual which would result in de bonding of membrane.”

Kate sumps up saying,“With our expertise, we introduced a damp proof membrane to counter the effect and successfully completed the project to the customer’s delight.”
