SCHWING Stetter machines have always been the best in the industry, with updated features, making us the first choice of customers regarding concrete and construction machinery. Our products are outfitted with best-in-class hydraulic components and electrical systems to provide precise machine control and the best output with consistent performance.
How are CE manufacturers maintaining emission standards?
The heavy-duty machines of the construction industry are required to wield higher torque capabilities to match the heavy-weight requirements of huge construction sites, mining projects, metro rail construction, and infra-development projects. Our R&D team has been striving to cope with the challenge of remodelling the existing machinery to work within the government-mandated emission standards. Our team has successfully achieved this by tweaking multiple phases of the product manufacturing process.
The prime example of this success is the new SLM (Self-loading Mixer), which abides by the new emission norms and offers better fuel savings. Our Self-Loading Mixers product range comes equipped with the latest CEV Stage-IV CRDI Engine that makes this possible. The new SLM 4300 is ergonomically designed to offer the best safety to the operator and is built to produce high volumes of concrete on an hourly basis. The equipment provides better fuel efficiency due to EGR and its extraordinary hydraulic system.
What’s your suggestion on fuel efficiency and uptime?
Due to the rising fuel prices in the country, fuel efficiency has become one of the most critical factors in the selection of equipment. From the customer’s perspective, the major cost of owning construction equipment comes from fuel expenses, and SCHWING has not failed to identify this issue. As the first step towards achieving highly economical machines with minimal fuel expenses, We launched 14 new products in the past few months through various exhibitions and product launch events. These machines are equipped with the capability to generate a higher amount of work output while maintaining the same level of fuel consumption, which has increased the machine’s fuel efficiency overall.
What are the demand trends for buying back?
The demand for buybacks has been rising over the past few years. This facility has offered our customers added security in buying new machines for their upcoming projects without hesitation.
How do you complement sustainable construction on-site?
Promoting sustainability has been a critical motive of SCHWING Stetter India since its inception in 1998. Our machines have been specifically designed to limit the impact of our products on the environment. SCHWING products are also priced in a range to support the customer to obtain maximum output.
What are the initiatives you are adopting for reducing and managing waste?
SCHWING Stetter India has always had a strict policy regarding the three Rs (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle). A dedicated wastewater treatment plant has been integrated into our manufacturing facilities to reuse the wastewater for garden irrigation. We also ensure that a green belt is maintained in all our facilities. We use only reusable materials for packaging and recommend specific instructions to our customers for handling the waste generated by our machines. We have minimised our total wastage by eliminating one-time plastic accessories in all our facilities and using transparent roof sheets to reduce the usage of lights during the daytime.
