JK Tyre, the country’s pioneers of Radial tyre technology, has taken another step to further enhance its technological prowess in the industry by developing a full range of EV-specific Smart radial tyres for all categories of buses, trucks, LCVs, and passenger cars in India.

Engineers from a cutting-edge global technology centre, the Raghupati Singhania Centre of Excellence (ROSCOE), designed and developed the tyres specifically for the needs of electric mobility.

Our Smart tyres are designed with EV-specific nextgeneration design philosophy, making the entire range smarter, quieter, more durable, and more energy efficient.

JK Tyre has developed technologies to meet the unique needs of electric vehicles, ensuring ultra-low rolling resistance, improved wet and dry traction, increased durability, and lower energy consumption. To  meet the challenging lower noise requirements of EVs, the tread pattern was designed using advanced FEA simulations for lower noise and better wear characteristics.

The smart EV tyres from JK Tyre are fitted with in-house developed and perfected Treel® TMPS sensors and are designed to meet the demanding performance needs of EV trucks, buses, LCVs, Passenger Cars, SUVs, and 2Wheelers.

Smart EV tyres are available in 17.5” and 22.5” tubeless sizes for all bus, truck, and LCV applications. JBM EV buses are equipped with EV tyres (255/70R22.5 & 295/80R22.5).
