Loya Pre Engineered Buildings Pvt Ltd, also known as LOYA PEB, has been in the construction business since 1989. The company was started by brothers Sunil Loya and Sanjay Loya and has remained a family run business ever since. After several years of experience in conventional on-site industrial construction work, Sunil Loya, Managing Director of the company, envisaged a demand for speedy, pre-engineered building solutions. In 2008, the brothers decided to take the business in a new direction. At a time when friends and family were advising caution in the face of the global recession, the duo invested their earnings from the construction business and setup a pre-engineered building manufacturing unit in Aurangabad, the first of many steel buildings manufactured and commissioned by the company.

The company’s manufacturing unit located in MIDC Shendra, Aurangabad is a good example of the flexibility afforded by steel buildings. Over time the steel building that houses the company’s sophisticated equipment has been expanded to what is now a 1, 00,000 sq. ft. shed. At the rear of the campus is a small orchard, a nod to the family’s farming roots. With its products, the company tries to cater to clients with all building size requirements. Light Gauge Steel Framed Structures (LGSF) can be used for smaller (typically less than 10,000 sq. ft) ancillary buildings and residential installations and are more cost effective than conventional structures. Not many companies have this technology and with it LOYA PEB can cater to a market that is ignored by other competitors.

From its humble beginnings, LOYA PEB has now become an established player in an industry that has stiff competition from large overseas companies and small domestic players alike. 2018 will mark the PEB division’s 10th year. Over this relatively short period of time, the company has constructed over 4.5 million sq.ft – more than 401 projects across the country with clients spanning several different types of industry. These clients include Bharti Walmart, Garware Polyester Ltd, Osborn, UB Group, ACC Ltd, among several others. The company has also built an aircraft hangar for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in Bengaluru. In the last couple of years LOYA PEB has set its eyes on the export market. The company has completed projects in Tanzania, Nigeria and most recently, in Nepal.
