“Our newly developed control systems enable our customers to control and monitor their fuel and energy consumption and obtain optimum results through our plants,” says Anand Sundaresan, Managing Director, Ammann India.
The Soil Compactor, Tandem Roller, and Mini Tandem Roller, our newest addition, are all designed entirely in India for the Indian market during the exposition. Anand Sundaresan, Managing Director, Ammann Group adds, “We also provide mechanical paving with a capacity of up to 5m, Sensor Paver, and the RAH 50 system, which allows up to 60 per cent recycled material to be used in the asphalt plant.”
Second, we have completed the installation of our 180-tonne plant’s tower. We demonstrated our Elba-designed 60 cubic metre concrete batching plant. Elba is a German firm that Ammann took over roughly seven years ago. Previously, we exclusively produced it in India and exported it, but we have
lately begun creating it and selling it in the Indian market. We also have our multi-fuel burner on exhibit. We can utilise a variety of fuels, including gas. It is the intake since it is more ecologically friendly. In addition, we demonstrated a unique and one-of-a-kind lubricating system. We have created a new technology where you can put this PLC-controlled cartridge with its battery.
With this, you don’t need to worry about it releasing itself automatically. It will be a greased cartridge, which can be replaced every six months.
Further, we also introduced the latest control system at Ammann, which is helpful for ongoing infrastructural developments in India. This control system allows us to control and monitor the performance, fuel consumption, and energy consumption.
Reliability aspect for customers and users
We have all the options available to us. It depends on whether customers want to use the advanced and smart choices. For example, our control system is not a regular PLC-based control system. It is a microbubble which is faster than a standard PLC system. It is entirely Training and skill development at Ammann We are collaborating with state PWD engineers. We have scheduled several virtual training sessions with them to keep them up to date on the newest techniques and technologies. This effort has generated a lot of good comments in Ammann. We are doing all possible to share our knowledge with our partners.
We have the Ammann Academy for skill development.
One of our teams is associated with IESC, the Infrastructure Equipment Skill Council, which is part of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). So, we can train them for everything. Operators may make or break the equipment since if you want the optimum performance, you must have a skilled operator. We seek a government mandate to allow only qualified operators to operate construction equipment. Every year, 1.6 lakh operators must be trained, according to statistics.
“Our control technology is a 1000x quicker bubble than a standard PLC system.”
Sunil Sapru, Director, Ammann India.
