Schwing Stetter to sell tower cranes in India

Schwing Stetter India announced its foray into material handling industry with the launch of an exclusive range of Schwing-XCMG tower cranes.
The expansion will see the ready-mix concrete equipment maker selling towers cranes of XCMG, a China-based global construction equipment manufacturer that has a majority control of Germany-headquartered Schwing group, in the Indian market.
Schwing Stetter India with its expertise in concrete construction equipment in India, has brought expertise from group company XCMG, a China-based global construction equipment manufacturer that has a majority control of Germany-headquartered Schwing group.
The increasing demand for mechanisation of construction activities is pushing the requirement of tower cranes in India that are able to lift heavier loads and be more productive yet be affordable to own and operate. “Schwing Stetter has always laid emphasis on understanding customer needs. Schwing concrete pumps and Schwing-XCMG tower cranes will work in synergy to suit their requirements,” the company said.
Schwing-XCMG tower cranes come in various capacities and types ranging between 5-tonne and 6-tonne.
The cranes are designed to handle high-rise projects.
