The construction industry is a key driver of the Indian economy. The construction business in India is developing as a result of ongoing urbanisation, impending infrastructural projects, and a growing population base. It is the third-largest contributor to economic growth, with significant opportunities prevailing ahead as well. On the other hand, exponentially growing public sector projects are a big boost to the burgeoning Indian construction industry. With various reforms being adopted, the Indian construction sector has seen both disruptions and optimism in the recent past. In addition, rapidly growing technology is reshaping the way the construction industry operates and is managed in India, and hence it is also one of the major drivers of the industry.
With an aspiration to be a revolutionary home-grown manufacturer of construction equipment and to strengthen the construction sector by integrating innovative machines, Dr. Vikram Mehta established Spartan Engineering Industries Pvt. Ltd., which pioneered one of the most highly developed safe and revolutionary hoists like multifunctional material hoists in India.
India has started moving high-rise buildings and skyscraper towers in all major cities. That is really good for the industry. Mumbai and Delhi have seen many high-rise towers already, and the good part is that cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata have started getting high-rise project clearances even up to 100 to 200 mtrs. As a result, technologically advanced safety machines are required in such tower constructions, leveraging the machinery industries.
Spartan has been a pioneer in designing and developing construction equipment. Spartan boasts a team of 30 experienced and expert designers. This team is dedicated to designing, engineering, and product development activities. It is well equipped with highly configured workstations along with the latest and most advanced design software like Solidworks and AutoCad.
All the machines are designed as per international standardsCE. The machines are designed electrically as per European EN standards and thus are CE certified. CE certification consists of safety assessment tests, load tests to ensure structural strength, FE Analysis reports of all components, and electrical safety tests (Low and High Voltage tests).

The Benefits of IOT
Real-time Hoist status is available in the IoT app, where customers can check the last servicing date, next servicing date, operational status, etc. This detail helps the customer to know the hoist’s servicing status and helps to keep the hoist well maintained. Also, customers can check whether the hoist is operational or under breakdown from anywhere. Customers can view their running hours by date as well as their average daily running hours. It helps customers track the running cost of the hoist and also check productivity per day. A complete history of faults is available, including safety device actuation, VFD trip, VPR fault, bake liner wear out, contactor fault, etc. The app allows customers to view hoist performance from any location, and any anomalies can be easily traced and solved/repaired before a major breakdown occurs.
