As Everest Engineering deals with a diverse portfolio, what are some of the best selling products?
At Everest, we are dedicated to the construction and infrastructure sectors in India. Our main motto is to provide the highest quality with no compromise in safety. With the increase in safety awareness around the country, we have tower crane anti-collision systems which have been working in the Indian market since 2014 and to date, we haven’t faced any issues with it. Through our constant modifications in the system, both hardware and software have helped us to be the market leaders in this category.

We also have passenger-cum-material hoists, mast climbing work platforms, tower cranes, rebar processing CNC
machines, straddle carriers, heavy gantry cranes, launching girders and self-propelled modular transporter. We also provide passenger hoists, tower crane and tower crane anti collision systems for rental.

How much focus are you putting on R&D and indigenous technologies in your products?
Everest has been monitoring the issues that our clients face daily and making their lives easier with improvised machines is always our aim. For this, we have a small R&D team present at our head office in Mumbai. Through their constant efforts and developments, we can proudly say that the tower crane anti-collision systems that we are providing is upgrading through constant reports we get from the sites and that has helped us in being the market leaders in this category.

How are you managing after-sales and rental services in the current market environment?
We are proud to announce that our core strength has always been our service team. With more than 50 engineers, technicians and riggers place strategically across the subcontinent, we have been successful in attending to our clients’ queries at the earliest. In April 2020, during the peak of the rise in cases related to Covid-19, we had installed a passenger hoist in Nanavati Hospital within 24 hours for the movement of Covid-19 patients. During another emergency, our team had installed a twin-cage passenger hoist up to 30 m height within 24 hours in the Raymond realty site. And now we are proud to say that our team has completed the installation of 11 units of 12T tower cranes within two months.

We have always been the customers’ first choice for service since the day of inception. With the increase in the requirement of rental machines and safety equipment, we have formed a company Everest Rentals Private Limited, which handles all the rentals on behalf of Everest Engineering. This company was formed to give greater focus to the rental market and to cater for the Indian industry with the highest quality of machines.
