Gemini participated in Excon 2011, looking forward to the new customers who are mainly in the construction segment. The products imported from Denmark were on the display as they were supposed to be commercially launched in December 2011.
“We had introduced a new Hydraulic Handheld Breaker at Excon 2011. These breakers and other construction equipment are imported from Denmark. Not many players exist for these kinds of equipment, so we see a good market for these products”, says SD Shenoy, Business Head, Gemini Power Hydraulics. Highlighting the lack of innovation in the field of construction equipment technology in India, he pointed out, “There is nothing new, the same old products are existing. There should be more technological innovations to offer for our customers”.
According to Mr. Shenoy, Gemini got a good response at the expo, the customers who visited the stall showed lots of interest. “The visitors came at our stalls were either our customers or the known people. We met many new visitors who were interested in our products”, he said.
