‘ROTOSAFE ‘– The Load Turning DeviceUnsafe handling of large heavy loads in the workplace can often result in dangerous and life threatening situations. Turning such loads without specialist equipment may also cause damage to cranes and expensive manufactured components.
Sujata Metal Engineering Works has developed ROTOSAFE – the load turning machine which can solve the problem of turning loads in a controlled way. Most loads will turn upto 360 degrees and can be stopped at any desired position, for the next stage of production or welding needs.
Another advantage of ROTOSAFE is the portability within the factory. The load turning machine can be transported by any suitable overhead crane or the forklift directly to the place of use, where the load can be turned safely.
ROTOSAFE can be manufactured for load requirements of various sizes, shapes and weight. It is suitable for use in fabrication shops, assembly stations, maintenance depots, machine building and engine assembly.
ROTOSAFE is the load turning device safely repositions load of regular or irregular shape in mid air anywhere in the workshop. No jerks, no bangs – smooth and safe load turning facility which can be suspended from crane hook.
Use of ROTOSAFE results in free floor space of fixed position and expensive load rotators. It is easy to operate and install.
Operating Procedure• Suspend ROTOSAFE from crane hook• Position the crane over the load• Suspend load using slings on ROTOSAFE pulleys• Plug main power supply 415V, 3PH, 50 HZ• Turn the load by pressing the Forward or Reverse Push button on the pendent resulting in clockwise and anticlockwise motion• Release the button to stop rotation and holding of the load in the position as the electromagnetic fail safe brake applies.

Rod/Stud Straightening MachineSujata Metal is a renowned manufacturer of rod/stud straightening machine. The machine is used to straighten the round rods of diameter 3 mm to 20 mm. During heat treatment, the thin rods tend to bend and hence difficult to do next operation like centre less grinding. To remove the bend manually is very tedious, laborious and time consuming job.
In Sujata Metal Engineering’s machine, there are two slides. The top slide presses the component between the two slides and bottom slides move to and fro. The component is kept horizontally on the bottom slide and then pressing start button will lead to top slide coming down hydraulically and pressing the component against bottom slide. Bottom slide now moves forward and reverse and hence rolling the component in the pressed condition. This results in straightening of the component. The straightness achieved in this machine is upto 0.05 mm. The productivity of this machine is upto 5 pcs/min depending upon the diameter of the component.
This process results in work hardening of the component and hence spring back action is not there. This is highly effective and proven machine ideally suitable for productivity improvement.
