The acquisition involves integrating a specialised automotive boots operation owned by Injectoplast, a privately owned company based in India. With this acquisition, Trelleborg reinforces its dominant position in the global market for automotive boots, particularly in light vehicles, which are experiencing significant growth in India.

Located in Kanpur, close to a prominent light vehicle manufacturing cluster, the acquired operation boasts a state-of-the-art facility. With an annual sales volume of approximately SEK 70 million, it produces high-quality products tailored for the thriving Indian market.
