Trimble Inc. (NASDAQ: TRMB) has announced the appointment of Thomas Phang as the new Vice President of Sales for Trimble Construction, overseeing the Asia Pacific region.

Covering key markets such as China, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, Thomas brings over 25 years of extensive experience in driving sales growth within the technology sector.

Having dedicated over 13 years to Trimble, Thomas previously held the role of Area Director for the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. His comprehensive background includes pivotal positions at renowned tech giants like Autodesk, Microsoft, Sun, and HP. Throughout his career, Thomas has excelled in building and leading multicultural teams across various Asian markets.

Suresh Sundaram, General Manager & Sector Vice President of Global Operations at Trimble Construction, expressed excitement about Thomas’ appointment, highlighting his strategic acumen and track record of accomplishments. Thomas’ contributions to Trimble extend beyond his recent appointment. He notably led the establishment of Trimble’s Southeast Asia (SEA) division for Structures and played a pivotal role in formulating business strategies that led to significant revenue growth in the region. Based in Singapore, Thomas has demonstrated his ability to assemble dynamic sales teams and drive results.
