Adani Cement introduces the cutting-edge, ground-breaking ACC ECOMaxX green concrete solution in Mumbai. A specialised green ready mix technology with a potential to reduce CO2 and providing various benefits in construction industry.
ACC Limited, the cement and building material division of Adani Cement and a member of the Adani Group, plans to provide the building materials sector a fresh perspective by introducing “ACC ECOMaxX” in Mumbai and other cities over the next few days. A sustainable future may be built through thoughtful green construction with this professional selection of green concrete products.
With an embodied carbon content that is 30–100 percent lower than a reference concrete created using OPC, ACC ECOMaxX offers the industry’s widest choice of green concrete alternatives. Utilising a specialised green ready mix technology, the products are created with a maximum reduction in CO2 emissions of up to 100 percent. The cutting-edge product line is produced using CO2-reduced binders and an improved mix design to improve finish and durability. Contractors, developers, engineers, architects, and individual home builders can all benefit from the high-performance, professional green concrete solution offered by ACC ECOMaxX.
As India transitions to the new era of circular construction, there is a huge demand for these products. By fostering innovation and technology through its green concrete, the company has been a pioneer in this industry.
Ajay Kapur, CEO, Cement Business, said “Sustainability and innovation are at the core of our operations. With a focus on ESG, ACC ECOMaxX demonstrates our capability to re-evaluate construction needs for a sustainable future. Our green concrete technology will help our customers to reduce their carbon footprint while maintaining the structure’s integrity and strength.”
A range of goods with lower embodied carbon content are available from ACC ECOMaxX. Customers can choose the degree of environmental impact they want to have from a wide range of items, including: ACC ECOMaxX concrete, which has an embodied carbon content that is 30–50 percent lower than that of standard OPC offerings; ACC ECOMaxX PLUS, a technically more versatile product that offers a CO2 reduction level between 50–70 percent higher than the general standards available in a given market; and ACC ECOMaxX PRO, which maximises technical potential and pushes the limits of our technical know-how, offering a top-tier product with a CO2 reduction of more than 70 percent.
With ACC ECOMaxX, the Mumbai Coastal Road Project, for instance, has reduced 3,447 tonnes of CO2 emissions compared to using traditional concrete, maximising its environmental impact.
The focus of the company is to broaden the selection of environmentally friendly options in order to hasten the transition to circular and low-carbon buildings. It has set the most demanding 2030 climate targets in the cement industry in an effort to considerably advance the goal of net-zero.
