Builders’ Association of India Pune Centre organised the “Well Built Structure Competition (WBSC)” to accredited good quality works executed by the contractors and developers – maintaining quality, speed, economy, safety and welfare measures.
BAI Pune Centre has organised the felicitation of experienced and young entrepreneurs, who have made significantly outstanding contribution and remarkable achievements in the field of construction. The competition has had a successful endeavour in and around Pune by acknowledging the good work done in the array of categories. The categories include residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, well-equipped and mechanised site, government, semi-government and public works as well as young entrepreneur award.
BAI – Padma Shri B G Shirke Life Time Achievement Award “Nirman Ratna” was presented to Dhruvakumar Lallubhai Desai (Shankarbhai) for his contribution to the construction industry.
The dignitaries attended the event include Chief Guest, Abhai Sinha, Director General, Central Public Works Department (CPWD) and Guest of Honour, L Moorthy, Past Vice President, Builders’ Association of India (South Zone).
The BAI is the apex body of Construction Industry established in 1941 and since then it has established around 135 centres across the country and has over 15,000 members, including associations.
