CNH, a global leader in agricultural and construction solutions, joyously marks the 25th anniversary of its esteemed brand, New Holland, in India.

Throughout its journey, New Holland has been a trailblazer in bringing cutting-edge technological advancements to the forefront of the country’s agricultural sector. Particularly notable is its pioneering of the baling technique for crop residue, establishing itself as a market leader in this segment.

To commemorate this significant milestone, CNH organised a showcase event at its state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Greater Noida. The event featured an extensive array of farm equipment, including tractors, combine harvesters, and balers. As part of the celebration, CNH highlighted its local Research and Development (R&D) capabilities, showcasing precision technology such as telematics and software apps. These innovations have been developed and seamlessly integrated across product segments by the India Technology Center.

The Greater Noida manufacturing facility stands out as one of the most advanced tractor manufacturing plants in India, boasting an annual production capacity of over 60,000 machines. Operating under the CNH Business System, the plant emphasises accountability, agility, efficiency, and safety. It aligns with the country’s Make-in-India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, achieving over two decades of continuous production for both domestic and export markets. Recently, the facility celebrated a significant production milestone, surpassing 6.7 lakh tractors.

CNH India places a strong emphasis on sustainability and environmental stewardship. The plant has made commendable strides in reducing its carbon footprint, achieving a reduction of approximately 26,000 tons of CO2 emissions over the past decade. Embracing renewable energy sources, the Greater Noida plant derives 25% of its energy requirements from solar panels. Additionally, the facility has adopted the Miyawaki Project Methodology, planting over 10,000 trees of 30 different species, covering an impressive 3,000 square meters.

This extensive network reflects the company’s strong and trusted presence in India.
