Colorshine to expand with 0.35 MTPA cold rolling complex

How are customers adapting to the innovations added to your roofing products and solutions?
What market will you capture with these products in the coming years? Some customers are early adopters and eager to try out new products, while most prefer to observe and evaluate the benefits of the latest offerings before trying them out. Once they see that others have successfully used the new colours or patterns, they are inclined to try them out. We will be targeting the southern markets for our latest products.

How does Colorshine ensure the durability and longevity of its roofing sheets?
Colorshine assures the durability and longevity of its roofing sheets by following the IS15961 standards for CCL substrate material (AZ-70/AZ-100/ AZ-150/AZ-200) with a TCT starting from 21 microns to 40 microns, as per IS15965, to achieve a 700-hour- 1250 SST pass for our Spectrum and Signature brands. These brands are widely used in the construction, industrial, and housing sectors. To achieve even higher quality and durability, we manufacture our Signature brand (substrate AZ-150) with a top coat of 18+5 and a back coat of 3+4, as per IS15965, to achieve a 1000 SST pass and suitable for humid conditions and coastal areas usage.

What measures have you taken to ensure sustainability, durability, and environmental friendliness in your roofing products and solutions?
Regular quality checks are being followed for the sustainability and durability of products with certain SOPs. For environmental friendliness, we use high-quality paints from reputed suppliers such as Berge Becker, Nippon, and PPG Asian.

How do you handle customisation requests for your roofing sheets, and what options are available to customers?
The product development team and R&D team in the plant regularly coordinate with the sales team to develop customised products as per customer requirements in specific projects or industries. Products with anti-bacterial paint, cool roof for controlled temperature, both side same colour, one side PVDF and other side RMP or SMP paint are available with us for discerning customers.

What is the lead time for delivering and installing your roofing sheets?
It takes 10 to 15 days to deliver the primary product after the TDC approval from the customer is finalised for regular paint shades. Delivering the specialised product takes four weeks for special paint shades. Our associates take care of the installation part. What are the other products Colorshine offers to the roofing industry? In addition to roofing sheets, Colorshine can offer wood, flower, and camouflage patterns, wrinkle finishes, and dual-colour products from our existing facility.

Are there any expansion plans for Colorshine?
We are pleased to inform you that Colorshine is setting up a 0.35 MTPA cold rolling complex to produce GP and Al Zn Alloy products. These products will cater to our in-house colour coating line consumption. We may also offer these products to OEM, Export and Trade customers.
