ElectroMech delivers its 5000th crane to Gamesa

EOT crane manufacturing major ElectroMech Material Handling Systems India Pvt Ltd achieved a new milestone by manufacturing the 5000th crane – 150 MT gantry crane. The landmark 5000th crane was handed over to Gamesa Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd, a global technological leader in the wind industry. Tushar Mehendale, Managing Director, ElectroMech along with N. Ravichandran, Executive Vice President, Gamesa unveiled the magnificent Gantry crane at the handing over ceremony.
After in depth study of material handling needs of Gamesa, ElectroMech customised an outdoor DG Gantry crane with a unique feature of 360 degree rotating motorised hook that is suitable to withstand extreme climatic conditions.
Gamesa’s order coincided with ElectroMech achieving the landmark of 5000th crane manufactured at state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Pune. 150 tonne capacity Gantry crane offers fine control mechanisms and has a span of around 20 metres and height of lift as 19 metres.
Expressing his delight, Mehendale said, “We at ElectroMech have been walking on the path of ‘Make in India’ initiative for over 3 decades.
