How do you assess the demand for mast climbing work platforms?

 Currently, the demand for Mast climbers/ platforms is at a relatively nascent stage in India, with only the leading contractors showing awareness of its usage. However, there is a growing consciousness even among retail and upcoming contractors on utilising this product, owing to aspects viz

•  Safer and easier erection than conventional scaffolding
•  Reduced labour costs and no labour casualties.
• Working spans and carrying capacities vary

; Therefore, this results in savings in moving material at different heights and expediting work execution compared to conventional techniques. Presently, in the Indian construction sector, the market size of Mast Climbing Platforms is expected to be around 50 units. And with the abovementioned growth in awareness, this demand will keep increasing in the coming years.

 Could you tell us more about GJJ Mast Climbing Work Platforms? 

Everest Engineering Equipment offers GJJ’s Mast Climbing Work Platforms-SCP230/9D on single masts up to 10.5m Spans and on twin mast platforms up to 24m Spans, with a speed of 6 mts/min. Our supplied Mast climbers are reputed for their low maintenance and little breakdowns, as vouched by our customers. Everest Engineering Equipment is also offering GJJ’s Passenger and Material Hoist in Single Cage and Twin Cage with speeds ranging from 46 mts/min up to 120 mts/min. Everest has supplied over 200 hoists in India, including a few for high-height applications of up to 280 metres, with a capability of going up to 500 metres.

What are the unique features of GJJ Hoists?

 GJJ Hoists are not new to India, with customers like L&T and LANCO having bought these hoists almost 18–20 years ago, and they are still working. Since 2012, EEE has been GJJ’s sole distributor in India, and the company has grown from strength to strength, with many new customers and repeat buyers.
