Frontline Pre-Engineered Buildings
 

Time was when Indian Steel was the cheapest in the world. But it was also scarce and shortages were accepted, as is the normal phenomena in a controlled economy, as a fact of life. It was against such a backdrop, that our promoter Mr. C. S. Chadha, had started a pioneering venture in India to manufacture cold roll formed sections for use as structural members for the industrial buildings. Thus rolled out for the first time in India Zed Purlins, Channels and Lipped channels and various other sections. Significantly, the total effort was indigenous in terms of installation of the manufacturing facilities, evolution of IS compliant design of the structural members and selection of shapes, range and size etc.
 
Way back in the early eighties, our pioneer went in for the first time in the Country for successful design, fabrication and erection of Industrial buildings “EXCLUSIVELY MADE OUT OF COLD ROLL FORMED SECTIONS” consisting of primary as well as secondary members. A number of such industrial units of various spans upto 20 meters, spacing upto 7 meters, height upto 10 meters, Crane gantries designed for upto 15-20 MT Loads were built and are still servicing industries engaged in diverse fields like Paper Mills, Foundries, Automobile components and General Engineering works. It was perhaps much ahead of time and a difficult task in the midst of a controlled economy dominated by
conservative mindsets.
 
Today at Frontline, we are into the pre-engineered buildings in a full fledged manner. We use an ideal mix of the technologies of 3 plates (for primary members) and Cold roll formed sections (for secondary members). The technologies along with our capacity to design provide us with an opportunity to offer the customized solutions. We have been able to deliver buildings needing extra ordinary features like span 30 meters, column spacing of 24 meters at some places, erection of re-locatable Sheds without RCC foundations, c rane gantries upto 100 MT and different height levels in the same shed etc.
 
Product awareness, availability of steel with higher tensile and yield, have of course helped us in our endeavor to achieve our cherished goal.
