This vital project, part of the Revas-Reddi Coastal Highway (MSH-04), will feature a cable-stayed superstructure and enhance connectivity between key ports, boosting the region’s economic growth.
Hindustan Construction Company Ltd. (HCC) has been awarded a ₹ 1,031.6 crore contract by Maharashtra State Road Development Corp. Ltd. (MSRDC) to build a two-lane bridge spanning Agardanda Creek in Raigad District on the Revas-Reddi Coastal Highway (MSH-04) in Maharashtra on an EPC basis.
The Bridge is 4.3 kilometres long, including 45 meters of approaches on the Agardanda side, 145 meters on the Dighi side, and a 4,120-meter main bridge. The bridge is situated on the offshore side of Agardanda Jetty and Dighi Port. The project contains two navigation spans with a horizontal clearance of 100 metres and a vertical clearance of 15 metres. The Bridge itself is made up of a cable-stayed superstructure with 420 m of navigational spans, configured as 67.5 m + 142.5 m + 142.5 m + 67.5 m.
Once completed, this project is expected to improve connectivity, cut travel time, and boost the region’s overall economic development. HCC’s latest award adds to the company’s contributions to Maharashtra’s infrastructure environment.
